Let’s take a step for our Motherland! Small acts of wisdom can bring a change!
If you become responsible, it becomes possible. To the people, by the people, for the people of India!
People need each other. We as Indians have been taught the principle of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, meaning “the world is one family.” It’s time we join hands from around the world as one huge united family, to help our motherland.
We have witnessed heart-wrenching stories of struggles during Covid-19. Families were distraught, children were forced to quit schools, many were left orphaned. Many of us felt helpless - how could we make a difference? Many of us felt like reaching out, some of us did, some of us couldn’t. Many of those lives could be saved, many of those children could have continued to study.
We cannot just sit and lament over what happened. We must take action. As children of our Motherland, we must reach out right now and transform India in a way that our own people will never have to face a bleak future ever.
If we start now, making our small contribution, each of us will become a drop and we can together create an ocean of resources.
Challenge norms. Take a small step. Change India.
YES
We must join this campaign as an Aware & Responsible citizen of India. And we will participate equally in nation building. Zindagi Tujhe Salaam will initiate the projects in association with the state government in the area of health & education. That’s because the two areas form the basis of our ecosystem. Right now, our focus is to get all the Indians on this platform. This is the dawn of a NEW INDIA and a STRONG INDIA!
Self-reliance in healthcare for India
Self-reliance in education for India
State of Education in India
There’s 1 teacher for every 24 students - one of the lowest in the world.
Historically, Indian education system has failed to create skilled professionals. It just prepares people for white-collar jobs, while stripping off their freedom to choose streams they like or passions they wish to pursue. While this trend has been steadily changing among a section of Indian population, good education in India has largely remained elusive.
Lack of access
Far-off areas in India lack schools, teachers and facilities
High drop-out rate
12.6% students drop out of studies, out of 62% drop out from schools
High cost of education
The education that really helps is still inaccessible due to its high cost. No regulation of exorbitant fees being charged by schools.
Inadequate government funding
Most public schools lack funds to improve quality, while private ones are not eligible. The government funding on education is inadequate.
Lack of infrastructure
Approximately 95.2% of schools in India do not have the complete set of RTE infrastructure.
Education and healthcare are taken care of in India by two players: the government and private bodies. Common people have no say or connection with either of these. The two bodies call the shots and decide the quality. This is why we have not made much progress in these two sectors in the last three decades.
